The Math of the Million

You cannot pastor 1,000,000 people from a pulpit; you pastor them in living rooms. Our Life Group philosophy is modeled after the Jethro Principle and the Pattern of Twelve.

  • The 12-Factor: Each Life Group leader is tasked with discipling 12 people. When a group hits 15, it multiplies into two new groups. This geometric growth is the primary way we will track and care for 1 million converts.

Local Care & Global Connectivity

Life Groups are the “Heartbeat” of Church Jehova Nissi.

  • In Manitoba: Groups meet weekly in coffee shops, homes, and offices across the province. They provide the “Safety Net” for our members—providing meals during sickness, financial help during job loss, and spiritual accountability.
  • Global Digital Groups: For our members in remote parts of Africa or restricted areas of Asia, we host Global Digital Life Groups via encrypted video platforms. This allows a believer in a small village to be “pastored” by a leader in Winnipeg, ensuring no one is left behind.

This is a unique benefit of our Global Membership.

  • Community Development Grants: Member Life Groups in Africa and Asia can apply for “Micro-Grants” (ranging from $500 to $5,000) to fund local community projects—like fixing a well, starting a community garden, or paying for a member’s emergency surgery.
  • The “Acts 2” Model: We believe in the radical sharing of resources. Our Winnipeg Life Groups “adopt” a sister Life Group in Africa or Asia, providing a direct pipeline of prayer and financial support.

Find out what to expect

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of our church and fully submit ourselves to His will. In every aspect of our ministry our goal is always to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. Therefore, we submit ourselves to its teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become what Christ desires for us to be.

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church will be characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.

We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.
